Onboarding

At Tradeshift, my primary task was to work on the product Pay, a global product that, among other things, serves to support users in reaching their suppliers as well as maintaining their invoices. I also worked very much on setting various frameworks for the UX and Design setup in Tradeshift.

One method to understand an existing user flow, is to be “in the shoes” of the user.

Here’s how a quick stylesheet would look like. This only served at a guideline for the development team to implement the shown component. And as they needed to experiment varous possibilities.
My primary tool are Figma & Miro.
A particular challenge I worked on at Tradeshift was Design legacy, inconsistent user experience and UI behavior. One thing is to understand where and how they have been implemented, to be able build upon them. Here’s the colour understanding within the company.
