Website Design
As a recent graduate of 2015, I started out freelancing. This task was for Viteco, a newly started IT company that needed to change their existing visual identity to a new one. They had a particular need to prioritize their content and business message to their B2B customers.
The first challenge was to understand their business, their vision and not least the strategy of the website. In addition, they had a lot of content on their existing website, which was a challenge to prioritize and cut down on, to a more userfriendly website. The project had a strict time limit of two months.
I ran a card sorting workshop with them, to help them prioritize the content and to create a construction of the website. After creating a flowchart and a mockup of a page, the site was created. Their visual identy was build upon their vision and brand values. I finished the project handing over a design guide and a wordpress website.
I greated their new visual identity with a thorough review of their reflections on their visions and business mission. What feelings and associations do they want their brand to reflect? And how did they want to separate themselves from the many competitors? It was these considerations I asked them to decide.
